HMD Global has started the rollout of the Android 14 upgrade to the Nokia X10 and X20 smartphones. The updated Android version carries build numbers 4_250 for the Nokia X20 and 4_210 for the Nokia X10. The update bundles the Android security patches up to August 2024.
HMD rolled out the Android 14 update to the Nokia XR20 last week. Many Nokia X10 and X20 users were concerned about whether their devices will receive the Android 14 upgrade. Lucky for them, HMD is keeping the promise of releasing all the OS upgrades even though the Nokia X20 is already past the promised three years of OS updates from launch.
The Android 14 update is available to eligible Nokia X10 and X20 devices in various regions, including UAE and other Middle Eastern countries. The update may already be available in other regions as well. So, it is a good idea to head to the device’s settings and manually check for software updates.
