Nokia Mobile India has just launched the Nokia X6 in India. As seen from the Hong Kong & Taiwan launch, the device is renamed as the Nokia 6.1 Plus. It features similar specifications and comes with an affordable price. The Nokia 6.1 Plus costs ₹15,999 and will be available for purchase starting 30th of August.

Software wise, the device runs on Android One platform, offering one of the purest flavors of Android. The Nokia 6.1 Plus comes with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. Nokia promises 2 years of updates on its Android One phones. So, expect Android Q (or even R) besides Android Pie (9.0) and regular monthly security updates.
