Easily Edit your Facebook Posts without Losing Comments or Likes

Facebook has been continuously rolling out new features to improve the user satisfaction. Previously if there was a spelling mistake or a typo in your Facebook post, it was not possible to edit the post to improve the writing. Instead the user was required to delete the post and rewrite the same which would mean that all likes or comments on the same will be lost.

Editing Facebook Posts

This however is not the case anymore as Facebook now lets you edit your posts published on your timeline, a page or even a group. The editing functionality works the same way as it now works for comments.Just click on the pencil icon located towards the top right to the post and a new form will appear where you can make changes to the post.

A small Edited label will appear against every post which is edited by you and users who have the privileged to view the post can click on this edited link to view the revision history and find out what was edited/changed in the newer revision.

Availability of Edit Option

The functionality is available on the Desktop and Mobile versions of Facebook.com and also on the official Facebook app for Android. This is however yet to be added to the Facebook app for iOS and maybe someday it will be available in Facebook app for Every Phone as well 😛
