Has Happy New Year offer Ended?

Happy New Year offer was supposed to last for 1st January to 31st March. So it’s definite that the Happy New Offer has come to an end.

Is this the End of Free Services?

Till yesterday(31st March) if you hadn’t subscribed for the Prime membership, then you would have thought that this would be the end of your free services.
But, no this is not the end of the free services.
The reason is that Jio is giving a grace period of 15 days for Jio users who are yet to subscribe to its plans.

Can I Get the Jio Prime subscription Now?

Yes, you can get the Jio Prime subscription now also at the same price point of 99Rs.
But you should get it before 15th April.

What is Summer Surprise offer?

Mukesh Ambani wants to keep the Indian traditions alive. He has announced a mega offer for Reliance Jio customers. The Summer Surprise offer is Jio’s “Shagun offer” on a user’s first recharge

How to get Summer Surprise offer?

If you are a Jio Prime member and you have subscribed to a Jio plan that is worth Rs 303 or more, then the Summer Surprise offer will be activated automatically.

Am I Eligible for Summer Surprise offer if I enroll for Prime membership now ?

Yes, this offer is available to all those who have already taken Jio Prime membership and have done their first recharge of Rs 303 or more. If you have not subscribed to Jio Prime yet, you should subscribe before 15th of April and do a recharge of 303 and higher.

Whats are the benefits & validity of Summer Surprise offer?

Summer Surprise offer has a validity of 3 months, i.e. will get expired on 30th June. If we talk about benefits of Summer Surprise offer, they are the same which were offered for the Happy New Year offer for another 3 Months.

Is Summer Surprise offer free?

The answer to this question is a bit tricky. It’s free as well as it cost some money. To get the Summer Surprise offer you do need to spend some money, i.e. you have to spend minimum of Rs 303 plan + Rs 99 for Prime. This means you have to spend minimum of Rs 402 for it. Correct?
But wait! If you see in another way, it’s free as the Rs 303 recharge will be applied only after the end of Summer surprise offer i.e. you will get 28GB 4G data along with free calls and other services for four months. And the Rs 99 which you pay is to get the Prime membership which is for 1 year.

What happens to Prime users who recharged for less than Rs 303?

Those users will get Jio services but not the Summer Surprise offer. Although, all these users who subscribed to Rs 149 plan, can now again do a Rs 303 or higher recharge before April 15 to get Summer Surprise offer.

Who recharged for Rs 149, how this Rs 149 will be adjusted?

For now, Jio hasn’t offered clarity on this but it is certain that you will not lose this money.
For now our assumption is that, your plans will be activated like this – three months free until June. Then your Rs. 303 plan will be activated for the month of July and then Rs. 149 plan for the month of August.

But who knows? Maybe Mukesh Ambani will throw another offer when the Summer Surprise offer comes to an end? 😉
