Lenovo A7000 Comes to Philippines as Lazada Exclusive

After selling in other Asian markets for a few weeks already, the Lenovo A7000 is now officially landing to the shores of Philippine Islands. The smartphone is priced ₱7390 in the islands and will be exclusive to the e-commerce giant Lazada. Lenovo A7000 boasts of a 5.5-inch HD screen backed by an Octacore MT6752m processor from MediaTek. Adding 2GB of DDR3 RAM, a 8MP camera, 2900mAh battery and Android Lollipop makes the smartphone a nice budget friendly product.

For the audio freaks, the Lenovo A7000 takes the crown of being the world’s first smartphone equipped with Dolby® Atmos™. While this won’t really be an advantage unless you are watching a Dolby encoded movie and hearing the audio over a nice pair of headphones, it still is a worthy thing to have. Other than that, the Lenovo A7000 is a dual-sim smartphone one of which can support 4G LTE providing data speeds as high as 150 mbps.

Purchase Lenovo A7000 in The Philippines

Continuing with the strategy made famous by Xiaomi, the Lenovo A7000 will officially be available online-only on Lazada.com.ph for a price of ₱7390. Whilst some sellers (aka black marketeers) will be able to purchase it off Lazada and sell it for a slightly higher price, Lenovo will not sell it officially in brick and mortar stores.

Update: 2nd sale of A7000 will be on May 28th at 12 noon. And it comes with a Pineng 5000mAH power bank plus free screen protector and back cover, while the price is marginally pushed to ₱7499. How long the stocks last is something entirely dependent on the amount of stocks that get imported into the country and the buyers interest. However, keeping in account that the phone barely lasted for a few minutes in the flash sales in India, it isn’t expected to stay available for long once the sale opens up.
