After numerous leaks, Nokia has finally launched the newest member of Nokia Lumia family – the Nokia Lumia 928. The Lumia 928 will be exclusive to Verizon Wireless and will be available in stores starting 16th of May.
Quite surprisingly, there was no event held for launching Lumia 928 and instead, it has been announced and launched online. The news was published firstly on Nokia US’s Facebook page and then the device’s launch was also published on Nokia Conversations and Nokia Press release.
Price and Availabliliy of Nokia Lumia 928
The Lumia 928 will be available to purchase from Tuesday, May 16 for a price of $99 (after a $50 Mail-In rebate) for a new Verizon 2-year contract. There is another limited time $25 Windows Phone Store credit offer attached to the 928. Buyers will get free $25 to purchase apps and games from the Windows Phone Store. This is being done to provide customers with a few preferred apps for free so that they don’t feel the burden of buying their favorite apps.
Lumia 928 is a better iteration of the most innovative smartphone i.e the Lumia 920 (which dubbed at Nokia World last year) and hence carries the same awesome Pureview camera which takes super decent photos under normal as well as low light. Here’s a quote from the press release:
