Nokia Mobile (HMD Global) has launched the Nokia 7.2 in the Indian market. Nokia Mobile announced the device globally on the 5th of September in Berlin. The device brings a simplistic, premium-looking design along with a triple-camera setup with a 48MP main sensor to the mid-range segment. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor powers Nokia 7.2 with a 3,500mAH battery. The processor is indeed a bit dated, but it is still one of the powerful mid-range chipsets from Qualcomm.
Key highlights of the Nokia 7.2 are of-course its design which is a glass sandwich with a circular camera housing. Nokia 7.2 also comes in this unique green (Cyan Green) color which can make the device stand-out in the crowd. The camera housing is the home to a triple-camera setup where the primary sensor is a 48MP shooter. The other two sensors comprise of a 5MP depth sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
Nokia 7.2 features the similar PureDisplay screen technology which is a 6.3-inch HDR10 capable panel. The device uses a dedicated chip from PixelWorks to upscale SDR video content to HDR for a great viewing experience. The device is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 on its either side. That’s not an excuse to not use a screen protector, though.
Price and launch offers
Nokia 7.2, which is a successor to the Nokia 7.1 (and not the Nokia 7 Plus), comes in 2 memory variants. The base variant offers 64GB of onboard storage with 4GB of RAM for Rs. 18,599. The second variant offers 6GB of RAM and the same 64GB storage for a price of Rs. 19,599.
