Nokia X2, the last member of the Android powered Nokia X series (from Microsoft) has landed in the Indian shores. The phone is hugely improved from the 1st generation Nokia X devices and tries to fix a lot of usability issues present in them, but unfortunately the X2 not going to gain as much attention as they got. Especially because the market is flooded by smartphones from other manufacturers, targeting the similar price point.
Key Specifications of the Nokia X2 Android Phone
Nokia X2 is a Dual-SIM phone with a 4.3-inch WVGA touchscreen and a 1.2 Ghz Dual-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 gives it the processing power. There is 1GB of RAM packed into the phone which should be enough for running a bunch of apps and doing some normal multitasking. The back camera is a usual 5MP which does have Auto-Focus and there is LED flash for some night time photography. There is a camera at the front, but it is a mere 0.3 MP which is just for some video calling and selfie shouldn’t be a thing for it. The inbuilt memory is 4GB out of which around 2.5 GB will be accessible by the user.
Other key features of the device include the Nokia Glance Screen, Double tap to wake, scratch resistant glass (not gorilla), Free 7GB storage at OneDrive. It runs the Nokia X Platform 2.0 which is based on Android 4.3 and drops most of the Google Services, but is hugely improved from what was offered in 1st gen devices such as the X2. It now has two capacitive keys which are helpful in switching between the apps and returning to the homescreen.
Price of Nokia X2 in India
Nokia X2 is available in Orange, Green, White and Black. It is priced at ₹8699 on the official Nokia Store, but Flipkart (not from WSRetail) is selling it for a little higher price of ₹8990. However, little researching around and finding some coupons can help you in grabbing it for a bit cheaper price.

Competition
Nokia X2 will be directly competing with the Lumia 530, Motorola Moto E, Xiaomi Redmi 1S and the Asus Zenfone 4. There are however certain features which may give the Nokia X2 an edge over the others, but that’s all about individual preferences and budget.
