Vodafone has launched a new low-price unlimited calling pack. The brand new Rs. 9 pack offers one day of unlimited calling to any phone number in India. On top of that, Vodafone also offers 100 free SMS and 100MB of 4G data. Vodafone customers in Uttar Pradesh (East) circle can enjoy the pack by availing a recharge of Rs. 9.
The pack is decent in itself, and it should be a good buy for making long duration calls. For example, many customers like to talk to their close family members for long intervals. Subscribing to the pack twice or thrice a month will allow Vodafone customers to talk without worrying about the balance.
For the sake of comparison, Reliance Jio offers a similar daily package. The pack offers unlimited calls, 150MB of data and 100 SMS for the price of Rs. 19. So, Vodafone is making a cheaper offering here. That said, I still cannot locate the plan on Vodafone’s website, and entering the amount manually on Vodafone website marks it as invalid. So, most likely, it is only available with a retailer.
When subscribed, the pack will be valid till 11:59 PM of the same day. So, do not expect 24 hours validity from the time of recharge.
